PRIVACY POLICY

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) demands  that companies are transparent   about how they collect, process and store personal information.
At RVSN LTD  we do NOT  hold on to personal data for longer than necessary, or process it for purposes that  you are not  aware of. 

Your name and address information is used solely to process orders unless your prior consent is given. Without your consent, this information will NEVER be sold, given, rented or traded to others for purposes other than order fulfillment.

Your demographic information (gender, date of birth, etc.) will be used for several security purposes, to ensure you are who you say you are and in fact you are paying with your credit cards and not someone using your stolen credit cards.

 

We do not disclose any of your personal details to anyone  and we will not send you any  emails or mailshots without your consent. The only emails you will receive from us if you are making a inquiry about a product or service.
If at anytime we feel a breach in data security has taken place we will immediately report this to data protection authorities such as the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) in the UK.  wihin 24-48 hours

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

If you book our services you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.

GENERAL

The ‘Company’ is RVSN LTD. -The ‘Hirer’ is any person or company who hires or has agreed to hire Goods from the Company. ‘Goods or equipment’ means goods provided by the Company in accordance with the Company’s standard Terms and Conditions of hire.

ACCEPTANCE OF CONDITIONS

The customer’s acceptance of goods on hire implies acceptance by signing and agreeing to our Conditions of Hire as given below.

RETENTION OF TITLE

All goods remain the absolute property of the company.

BOOKING

A 25%  non-refundable deposit  is required to reserve your booking with us of which will be deducted on the final invoice. (25% of the full quote provided)

DAY OF SETUP

Linen must be already laid out for us to place the centerpieces, if we have to wait or do this ourselves we will charge for waiting time  or extra services we have provided

HIRE OF GOODS

Hired products may have slight scratches and marks, none of these items are new so will have a slight wear and tear.

DEPOSITS

 A deposit will be taken for goods that are hired out and which will be  returned to us.

REFUNDS
 Helium balloon orders cannot be cancelled  once payment is received, however you can re-schedule the date providing you give us one weeks notice before delivery.

REFUNDS- Any amounts that have to refunded will take 21 working days to reach your account  for hire items

PAYMENT and Cancellation

The full balance is due 3 weeks prior to your event date and an invoice will be sent 4 weeks in advance. Once the invoice has been paid we cannot issue refunds on any items that are no longer required but can exchange items subject to stock availability. Cancellation will result in the forfeit of the deposit ,

CHANGES TO AN ORDER

You can make changes to your order up to the point of 3 weeks in advance of the event. Significant changes to an order may change the quote 

DISCREPANCIES

Any discrepancies with an order must be notified within 7 days after the event.  Any discrepancies that are not notified during this period will result in no credit/refund. 

Force Majeure

We cannot accept responsibility for any of our items that are used outside should they be damaged, soiled or affected by weather conditions after we have left them – Therefore, no refunds can be given if adverse weather conditions have affected the product

In adverse weather conditions such as Snow & Ice, it is RVSN LTD  decision  whether  to deliver/setup hired goods to the venue if it jeopardises the safety of our staff.  RVSN LTD will try  to get the hired goods to the venue and exhaust every option that is available before cancellation of the booking. It is the responsibility of the hirer to make sure the hired goods are insured for such incidences.

Also any transport issues beyond our control, strikes etc we cannot take responsibility.

Anything which is beyond our control we cannot be held responsible or liable for. No refunds will be given for Force Majeure conditions.

HOURS OF WORK

Should we be required to dress an event or collect out of hours or on a bank holiday this may incur additional charges

TERMINATION OF LIABILITY

The Company shall be relived of all liability for obligations incurred to the Hirer and any other third party.

LAW

This contract shall be governed by English Law in the Courts of England.
